Yesterday when June and Mason were at the house we did some baking – one of their favorite activities. They are getting so big that they are actually good helpers now with a lot of the jobs that go into cooking. June almost always remembers to keep the mixer straight up and to keep it pushed down in the batter 
And as much as they’ve always been in the kitchen with me, I still don’t let them put things in a hot oven. Mason was VERY excited yesterday when we were making a Cold Oven Pound Cake, and he got to put it in himself. Good times
