Cameron Cheering

Last Friday night I was at the Clover football game – but sat on the visitors’ side. One of my very best besties, Evie, has a granddaughter who cheers for Boiling Springs, and I was so excited to finally get a chance to see her in action. We got this picture when she came up to visit with us at halftime.

Cameron was a gymnast for years before she switched to cheering, so I asked if she was going to do any flipping while she was cheering. And she agreed to go down and do some for me during halftime. Didn’t get great action shots, but so much fun watching her.

Final Senior Night Pix

Sherri comes up on Wednesdays to spend the day with Gran, so she was here to come celebrate Senior Night, too. I got this picture of her with our senior before she had to hit the road for Augusta.

We got this picture of the seniors with their fat heads before everyone left 🙂

Senior Night

With all of the festivities going on at the golf course on senior night, it was easy to lose sight of the fact that there was also a match going on :-). Mallory had the lowest score and Clover won the match, so it was a perfect Senior Night for our girl.

Usually there’s nothing so excited as snacks, and certainly not gifts, when the match winds down 🙂

Golf Carts

Wednesday evening was Senior Night for the Lady Blue Eagles at the golf course. The parents’ carts that they rode in to watch their seniors play were all decorated, with lots of help from the underclassmen.

We followed Lindee & Jackson around watching Mallory. Clara said all of the family could just watch Mal this match, since it was her big night 🙂

June the Painter

Saturday night Mason was having some friends over to spend the night, so June spent the night with us. We had been talking about her coming over & painting the sunshine plaques that are the decoration on our well house, so that finally gave us the chance to make that happen.

At the Baseball Field

We missed Mason’s first ballgame of the season, so were excited to be able to see him in action on the baseball field today. He played centerfield, so didn’t see much (any) action in the outfield – but I still liked watching him out there.

With his proud parents, after a Viper 15-8 victory 🙂

At the Golf Course Today

The girls’ former golf coach, Coach Cox, is very ill with cancer right now, so had to give up his coaching position this year.  Today, though, he came out to the match to cheer the girls on.  They were all so excited to see him, as we all were.  He is in between Mallory and Clara, if you can’t pick them out.

Clara shot her best score ever today – a 45. We were so proud, and she was beside herself. I got this picture of her with her proud family after the match. And she wasn’t letting that scorecard go 🙂

Adam’s Football Game

This evening we were back in Rock Hill – this time at Rawlinson Road Middle School – to watch the Sullivan Falcons in action. Adam played the entire game at center, & also on the kickoff and kickoff return teams. It is almost impossible to get a good picture of him hiking the ball – well, for me , at least – but I did get this one of him, #54, on the kickoff.

Heading to the bus after the game.

Our ROTC Cadet

Today was Clara’s first day wearing her ROTC uniform to school, and I was so excited that it happened on a day when I was driving them, so I could see her 🙂
