Last Sunday night I met Sherri in Lavonia, GA, to spend the night, so we could head out early to visit our cousins Bobby and Shirley in Hayesville, NC – Lavonia is about halfway for each of us, and that way we could ride the rest of the way together & have extra visiting time :-). We hadn’t talked about it, but I was hoping we’d be able to see Sherri’s daughter Amber, who lives in Lavonia. I was so excited to find out when we got there that it was Amber’s youngest daughter Zoee’s 13th birthday, and we were heading out to her party. I got this picture of the birthday girl, in her favorite dress, when we got to the park where they were having the celebration.
The view of the lake at the party location was beautiful.
