Last week I had a podiatrist appointment first thing in the morning, and when that was over with I headed out to Crowder’s Mountain State Park to do a little bit of walking. I’ve heard a lot about how strenuous the trails are there, so I thought I might end up just walking around the parking lot, but the park ranger pointed me to an easy walk – and it was beautiful, too.
That evening was the final regular season game of Clara’s middle school soccer career, and I got this one action photo. She’s #20, in the orange cleats (that’s how I keep up with her on the field.) They finished the regular season undefeated, so it was a special year.
