Mallory knew that this would be one of her harder matches of the season – Boiling Springs was the Upper State Champion last year – and for the first time, she was runner-up instead of medalist. She actually played very, very well, and we were proud. I love that Jeff captured this look on her face when she missed this putt. Better luck next time, Mal Mal!
