I had read when I was researching Hanging Rock Battleground that there was just one small sign about the history of it, and we finally ran across the sign as we were heading back to the car for the day. Of course I loved that.
From there we drove to Andrew Jackson State Park to have our picnic lunch. Conveniently enough, the picnic table we found was right beside the playground, so the boys had fun on that while we were there, too. Great day.
