What a wonderful day Saturday was! Our niece-in-law (is that a word?) graduated from Mercer University in Atlanta with her Pharm. D. degree – at least I think that’s what it’s called. After years of hard work, she is officially a pharmacist! Graduation was at 8:30 AM, so we met at a McDonalds on the way to grab breakfast, & just took it with us to get there in time to get the best seats.

After the ceremony – and virtually none of my pictures turned out there – we headed back to Greg and Tabitha’s house for a ceremony celebrating our new family pharmacist! Pam and Tab’s dad Randy had cooked an absolute feast: barbecue, potato salad, two kinds of cole slaw, chips – delicious! And the decorations and activities were so very, very cute. Among other things, they spray painted a twister board on the yard – this is before it was finished, but how cute is this? AND I had to leave for the four hour drive home before the games actually started (not, however, before I ate that yummy meal), so didn’t get to see it in use, but thought this was such a good idea. We may definitely need to try it sometime when the kids are here soon. Just a very special day for a very special young lady. Congratulations, Tab!
