Our azaleas have been so pretty this year, and now some of the other flowers are starting to bloom.
The dogwoods have been so pretty in our woods, too.

Last Sunday our choir at church presented their cantata, and it was absolutely beautiful. My friend Evelyn was one of the narrators. It was just such a meaningful service. And the palm arrangement was beautiful.
This past week was spring break here in York County, and both Andrew and Addie’s families were heading out on vacation – Andrew & crew to Disney World with all of Jenny’s family, and Addie & her bunch to an AirBNB outside Beaufort, where they were to spend a lot of time fishing (this was Mason’s Christmas present.) So Friday afternoon before everyone headed out the four grands & I went to get ice cream at Scoops in town. Yummy and fun.
Last weekend our friend Becky was in town from her home in Johnson City, and we went to Narroway to see the play, The Fourth Cross, to celebrate. I’d seen it before, and it was as good this time as it had been the first time I saw it. AND we were so surprised, when we walked in the lobby to head to the show, to see one of our Clover boys there to perform in the play. His wife Tiffany grew up in our church, so that made the play even more special. My flash is not working on my camera, so I couldn’t get a great picture of our group with Jamie after the performance, but it was a special time.
I am just getting pictures downloaded from the past three or four weeks. This is the one I took after Clara’s final match as a Clover Middle School Blue Eagles. Several of her very best buddies from her travel soccer team played on the other team, and after an undefeated regular season, Clover went down in the tournament championship match. It was hard, but in the end, besties are besties. So thankful for these sweet friends she has.
Last week I had a podiatrist appointment first thing in the morning, and when that was over with I headed out to Crowder’s Mountain State Park to do a little bit of walking. I’ve heard a lot about how strenuous the trails are there, so I thought I might end up just walking around the parking lot, but the park ranger pointed me to an easy walk – and it was beautiful, too.
That evening was the final regular season game of Clara’s middle school soccer career, and I got this one action photo. She’s #20, in the orange cleats (that’s how I keep up with her on the field.) They finished the regular season undefeated, so it was a special year.
This past week Adam and his Sullivan Middle School Falcon teammates competed here at Clover Middle School in a three way meet with both Clover and York. You have to look hard to see him in this picture, at the left hand side of the photo, running in the 400 meter race.
In the 800, running neck and neck with a runner from York, coming into the finish line.
Chelsea and Jon having their first dance. So sweet and beautiful.
