Graduation Brunch

Yesterday after the service at church the graduates and their families were treated to a brunch. It was so nice. They had such nice gifts for every graduate – the big bows were for the high school graduates and the blue bags were for the high school grads. So pretty and sweet.

Mallory and some of her fellow graduates opening their gifts. Such a nice event.

Graduation Party, Part 2

I got this picture of Mallory and Mason – our oldest and youngest grandchild – our M & M – at the party last night.

Lindee did a fabulous job with the Mallory Gallery. I had to take pictures to look at them when I got home, because some of the pictures were making me tear up while I was at the party.

Mallory’s Graduation Party Pix, Part 1

Last night was the big celebration, although graduation is not until Thursday night. It was such a great time. Lindee had set up a great display of Mallory’s life in their living room, and of course displayed her senior golf poster, with all of her All-Region certificates all around it.

Lindee had the cutest cookies made, and I insisted that my friend Evelyn, a die-hard Clemson fan, get her picture made with Cocky 😀 She said, Only for Mallory would she do such a thing 🙂

Baccalaureate Service

Last night was the Baccalaureate Service at the auditorium in town. I got this picture of Mallory and her friend Karis – they have been in school together since kindergarten – before the ceremony started.

On the screen when we walked into the auditorium.

Dirty Grass Soul

Saturday night Jeff & I went to a street festival in Bessemer to hear a band that Jeff really likes, Dirty Grass Soul. It was the first time I had heard them live – Jeff had played me several of their songs before – but I really, really liked them, too. Alas, before the show was over it started pouring down rain, so the show was over for Jeff & me after that, anyway – although by the time we walked the four blocks back to the car we were basically looking like drowned rats. This is not a great picture, obviously – it was raining pretty hard by then, and I was just trying to get it and get the camera back in my pocket before it got too wet. Fun times, though.

Clover High School Awards Ceremony

Last night Jeff & I were at the auditorium in town along with Lindee & Jackson to for the senior awards ceremony. Such a special night

Mallory received a Palmetto Fellows Scholarship, the Diane Hilderbrand Memorial Scholarship for a Female Athlete from the CHS Alumni Association, and one of the Clover Women’s Club scholarships, which was a complete surprise. So proud of our girl.

Building the Wall

Jeff had been wanting to get a wall put up to hide the gas tank out in our yard, so he finally got it done this week. I got this picture of him getting started.

Spring Chorus Performance

Last night Clara performed with the Mixed Ensemble, before the Choraliers put on their production of Little Shop of Horrors, which was the same play Addie had been in when she was a member of the Choraliers her senior year in high school. It was really good, as were the songs the Mixed Ensemble sang.
