Lindee  took Mallory to Atlanta for a couple of days, to go to the Shawn Mendez concert – that was her Christmas present last year – and Clara was here with us.  Luckily for her it was in the beginning of our driveway work, & she got to tote dirt clods with us.  Lucky girl :-).  She surely is a good worker, though.

We have been putting it off and putting it off – because who wants to spend that kind of money on something you can’t even see? – but the pipe where the creek runs underneath our driveway had rusted away so badly that we were afraid to order the load of rock that we need to be delivered to the top of the hill, since we were afraid the dump truck would crash through.  This week Jeff finally made it happen.
