A couple of weeks ago June served as an acolyte in church for the first time; this past Sunday it was Mallory’s turn.  Once again it was during the early service, so I had to watch her on the TV screen in the nursery, but she did a good job.  Here she is assisting with the offering.

She and Rachel did stop by the nursery on their way back to the sacristy to change clothes, so I could get this cute picture of their smiling faces.

Catching up on pictures from the past week.  Last Thursday I was going to a supper with my buddies at Charlotte’s pool, and I was to bring the dessert.  I toted everything with me, and Clara helped me bake a date nut cake to take.  When I was looking in the cabinets, I found dates left over from Bible School.  Lindee & I were in charge of snacks, and one night we had different foods from the Bible.  The dates weren’t a huge hit, so I had almost an entire package stuck up there.  Here is my helper – she does a great job!
