her daughter Hope were taking me out for supper &amp; to the Billy Graham Library&#8217;s Christmas celebration as a late birthday present.\u00a0 We had a delicious supper at Jim &amp; Nick&#8217;s, &amp; then headed to Charlotte.\u00a0 However, after spending about an hour sitting in various car lines, and being shuttled back &amp; for between parking lots, we found out that, in fact, all of the lots were full and closed.\u00a0 So we made up a plan B &#8211; we headed to Rock Hill, to look at their beautiful lights downtown again &#8211; Meg &amp; I had seen them the night before when we drove through there going to Elise&#8217;s concert.\u00a0 They were beautiful, &amp; it was such a nice night we got out &amp; walked around the new park they&#8217;ve built there, which includes the tallest fountain in the state of South Carolina.\u00a0 It was pretty impressive.<a href=\"https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/untitled11.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-672\" src=\"https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/untitled11-768x1024.png\" alt=\"untitled\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/untitled11-768x1024.png 768w, https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/untitled11-225x300.png 225w, https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/untitled11-690x920.png 690w, https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/untitled11-980x1306.png 980w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We remembered after we got downtown &#8211; and after we saw the Roman Centurions riding on their horses down the street &#8211; that one of the big churches was having their Living Nativity Scene that night, so we walked over to that.\u00a0 It was just so meaningful, as they always are.\u00a0 This was the last scene, of course, of the actual manger, with the angel announcing Jesus&#8217;s birth.\u00a0 The poor baby was sleepy and crying, just like I&#8217;m sure Jesus was that first Christmas night.\u00a0 It was a wonderful addition to my holiday celebration.<a href=\"https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/untitled12.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-673\" src=\"https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/untitled12-768x1024.png\" alt=\"untitled\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/untitled12-768x1024.png 768w, https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/untitled12-225x300.png 225w, https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/untitled12-690x920.png 690w, https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/untitled12-980x1306.png 980w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What a fun time Saturday night turned out to be.\u00a0 My friend Meg &amp;
