headed over to pick up my friend Sherry and her grandson Will, and went to Lineberger Park in Gastonia to check out the Splash Pad.\u00a0 Kelli Gilreath had told me about it when I saw them at Addie &amp; Lee&#8217;s the Fourth of July, and sure enough, it was great.\u00a0 We splashed, at the picnic lunch we brought, the kids ran all over the fields up near the picnic table, and we finished up our day on the playground.\u00a0 Great fun.<a href=\"https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/100_7953.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1217\" src=\"https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/100_7953-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"100_7953\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/100_7953-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/100_7953-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/100_7953-690x920.jpg 690w, https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/100_7953-980x1307.jpg 980w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Then soon after I got home Lindee, Emma and the girls arrived, &amp; we went to the Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens to take in the Corpse Plant.\u00a0 It was bizarre looking, but had actually finished blooming &#8211; it only lasts about 48 hours &#8211; and therefore wasn&#8217;t nearly as stinky as it would have been earlier, I don&#8217;t think.\u00a0 We did get a couple of &#8220;good&#8221; whiffs.\u00a0 They also had extended the Zimsculpt exhibit for another week, so we got to check it out.\u00a0 We had loved it when we were there last year, so that was a pleasant surprise.\u00a0 Clara&#8217;s favorite sculpture was The Eagle &#8211;
