{"id":1173,"date":"2015-07-07T02:37:11","date_gmt":"2015-07-07T02:37:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/?p=1173"},"modified":"2015-07-07T02:37:11","modified_gmt":"2015-07-07T02:37:11","slug":"a-good-wednesday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/?p=1173","title":{"rendered":"A Good Wednesday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Four of the six grands were here again on Wednesday &#8211; just a different combination.\u00a0 They played and played outside &#8211; it&#8217;s SO nice that the weather is a little cooler.\u00a0 Then they came inside and we did a science experiment.\u00a0 I&#8217;d read about this on line, and the supplies were pretty easy to come by.\u00a0 We mixed up these combinations of three different very specific clear liquids &#8211; a vitamin C tablet dissolved in warm water was one, and then combinations of hydrogen peroxide, iodine, starch, maybe a couple of other things.\u00a0 Then they poured them all together, and poured them back &amp; forth between cups, and all of a sudden they turned a bright purple.\u00a0 They were SO excited &#8211; so was I.\u00a0 I just wish I had enough scientific knowledge to tell them exactly what was going on.\u00a0 Here is June mid pour, just before the purple appeared&#8230;<a href=\"https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/100_7813.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1174\" src=\"https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/100_7813-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"100_7813\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/100_7813-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/100_7813-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/100_7813-690x920.jpg 690w, https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/100_7813-980x1307.jpg 980w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After lunch we ran June and Mason home, and Charlie &amp; Adam went with us to pick up my new car. I am so excited! It drove great, and it has air conditioning.
