{"id":1111,"date":"2015-06-12T01:03:11","date_gmt":"2015-06-12T01:03:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/?p=1111"},"modified":"2015-06-12T01:03:11","modified_gmt":"2015-06-12T01:03:11","slug":"shopping-in-steamboat-springs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/?p=1111","title":{"rendered":"Shopping in Steamboat Springs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are actually staying in Steamboat Springs on our vacation, and we have been so busy on the go to sites east and west that we hadn&#8217;t even had a chance to check out the town.\u00a0 Tuesday afternoon we spent a couple of hours checking it out.\u00a0 It was like a lot of tourist destinations &#8211; T-shirt and candy shops &#8211; but one really cool thing was how the original buildings were all preserved.\u00a0 On many, many buildings there were plaques that told about the history of the building, which was really cool.\u00a0 One place Lindee had read about before we even headed over was the F M Light Co, a cowboy store that had been in operation by the same family for over a hundred years.\u00a0 It was right downtown, so we were anxious to check it out.\u00a0 Lindee was pretty sure that she&#8217;d stepped into a little bit of heaven \ud83d\ude42<a href=\"https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/100_7628.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1112\" src=\"https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/100_7628-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"100_7628\" width=\"980\" height=\"653\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/100_7628-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/100_7628-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/100_7628-690x460.jpg 690w, https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/100_7628-980x653.jpg 980w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 980px) 100vw, 980px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In driving through town earlier Jeff had spotted these cute benches, &amp;
