{"id":10969,"date":"2026-01-17T02:34:18","date_gmt":"2026-01-17T02:34:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/?p=10969"},"modified":"2026-01-17T02:34:27","modified_gmt":"2026-01-17T02:34:27","slug":"walk-for-peace","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bigmamasdaycamp.com\/?p=10969","title":{"rendered":"Walk for Peace"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Tuesday my friends Evelyn, Meg, &amp; I headed to Great Falls &#8211; about an hour from here &#8211; to see the Buddhist monks who are walking from Texas to Washington, DC, to promote peace.  Our plan was to drive in that direction, and when we ran into tons of traffic we would stop and wait for them.  As it turned out when we got to where they were, they were having lunch at the fire department in Great Falls, so we stopped there.  We didn&#8217;t get to hear all of their talk, but were there for some of the question and answer session, which was very interesting and fun. I got this picture of all of the policemen and other departments that were clearing the road before them.
