What a great day yesterday was, as we got to see Elise perform in her starring role of Tracy in the Rock Hill High School production of “Hairspray.” I really cannot rave enough about the performances she gave, and how excited & proud of her we are! The day started out with Mason & I meeting Boo at Gran’s house for a quick breakfast, & then we all four headed over to take in the special performance that they were putting on for the school kids. Here is our Leesy on stage, singing her heart out. Awesome, just awesome.
After the performance she came back to visit with us for a while, & then the cast & crew all headed down for a meeting with Mrs. Daniels, the director. That’s Leesy in the hot pink on the far left – I snapped this just as we were exiting the auditorium.
Then last night Jeff & I headed back to Rock Hill with Addie and June, and met Lindee, Mallory, & Clara there, along with Boo, Shea, & Lesley, for the evening performance. This was also the performance when all Elise’s best buddies were there to see her. This is her with them afterwards, with the special posters some of them had made to hold up in the audience. It was such a special night for Elise – and for us all!
