Weekend before last Charlie & Adam were here for the whole weekend, while their mom & dad went to Tennessee for the family Pontoon Outing. It sounds like the folks in TN had a great time. We had fun here, too. Friday night we went to the Park Movie in town to see The Lego Movie, and then Saturday morning got up to bake cookies to take to Meg’s house. She’d invited us to come over for BBQ for lunch while Mike was in town. Mike’s family came from Gastonia, & it was fun spending time with them again. Here is Char getting started on the cookies.
After lunch we went swimming at Charlotte’s, then to the church to keep the nursery for the Marriage Enrichment event. Sunday morning we had church, then after lunch and naptime Jeff took the boys for a spin in the back of his pickup truck. And their mom & dad arrived to pick them up just after that. It was a good weekend.
