9/11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit

This morning Meg and I headed to Gastonia to visit a traveling exhibit commemorating the 9/11 heroes. A friend had mentioned it to Meg at Sunday school yesterday, and I am so glad – it was so moving. We were in the first tour group to go through, and it was pretty packed when we left, so I’m glad we got there early. There were display cases with artifacts from the explosion, including this piece of the siding of the Twin Towers. There was almost none of the left intact after the bombings – it, along with everything else in and a part of the buildings, was just pulverized – but a fireman found this several blocks away from Ground Zero.

More artifacts and debris from the buildings that were found that day.  It was just very, very interesting and moving.  I am so glad we went.

Looking at this article reminds me of my previous roommate!
He always kept talking about this. I’ll forward this
information to him. Fairly certain he’ll have a very good read.

  2. Its such as you read my mind! You appear to understand
so much approximately this, such as you wrote the ebook
in it or something. I feel that you could do
with some % to drive the message home a bit, but instead of that, this is
excellent blog. A great read. I will definitely be back.
