Dan Nicholas Park

What a fun day we had today. Clover schools are on spring break this week, so I took the four Clover grandkids, along with my friend Sherry and her grandson Will, to Dan Nicholas Park in Salisbury, NC. I’d been there a couple of times YEARS ago, and it was even more fun that I remembered it being. There was maybe the nicest playground I can remember seeing in a long time, and all along one side of it were these great rocks for Mason and Will to climb on 🙂

There were several playground areas around, including this Noah’s Art themed one outside the Wildlife area.  You’ll notice there’s a little boy in there in an orange shirt that we don’t know.  That’s because he just climbed up in the boat with our crew & said he wanted to be in the picture, too 🙂

We finally got to the barnyard, where there was a sign on the miniature donkey’s pen that the animals might bite, but Clara was unconcerned.  It was just a good, good day.
