Lord of Light

Last night June and I, along with Meg and Hope, headed to Fort Mill to Narroway Theater, to see their Easter play, The Lord of Light. It was very well done, but not exactly what I was expecting – lots of scenes of Hell. It did say in the literature that it was the story of what happened to Jesus during the time he was in the tomb, so I guess that shouldn’t have been a surprise. We also had communion during the scene about the last supper, which was something we hadn’t done at any of their plays before. Here is June afterwards, with one of the angels who fought Satan during His time in Hell. As always, the play was very well done. And of course my favorite part was the part about creation, which they did with puppets and black lights – very cool. Another good evening.
