Fun Friday evening

What a good day we had yesterday. I worked all day, which wasn’t that great, but left early to get to Elise’s All-Region choir concert in Rock Hill. It originally was supposed to be in Gaffney last week, and I didn’t think there was any way we could go, but then it was cancelled due to snow, and when they rescheduled it, the facilities at Limestone College weren’t available, so they moved it to Woodland UMC in Rock Hill. Perfect for us!  I’m still learning how to use the zoom on my camera, but that’s Elise with the glasses, in the middle of the picture.  The music was beautiful – I’m so glad we got to go.

Then we headed straight up town to Charlie’s church league basketball game, then to Showmars for a quick supper with Andrew, Jenny, the boys, and some of their friends, and then back to Woodland to Adam’s game. In between, though, we did get a chance to drive through town and see fountain park lit up to celebrate The Panthers. Lindee had told me about it last week, so I was so glad it worked out for us to see it for ourselves. Very, very cool.
