This picture is actually a good bit darker than it looked on my phone. Anyway, this year for our Advent service to the church, Meg and I are changing out the greenery in the windows every week. She came over to the house Thursday morning & we went out picking creeping cedar, and then headed to town. As it turned out, the holly still looked pretty in the windows from the week before, so we just left it there and threw away the dried out cedar from the week before, and added what we brought. We thought they turned out pretty.
I left Meg finishing up in the sanctuary, & headed downstairs to help Charlotte serve at the luncheon she hosts every year for a couple of the older adult Sunday school classes. I had every intention of getting pictures of every table, but got busy, and this is the only picture I took of the entire event. It was lovely and delicious, and everyone seemed to have such a nice time. It was a good day.
