Disney Puzzle

This was the biggest puzzle in the boxed set that Jeff got me for Christmas – 750 pieces. Perfect entertainment for these nasty, cold, rainy days we’ve been having.

Final Florida Picture

Before we leave our vacation every year, we try to get a group shot so we can remember what the condo was like where we stayed. This year we chose the couch. It was hilarious to sit on – it leaned way back. Lindee said it was like you were on a ride at Disney every time you sat on it :-). Great week, for sure.

One more day at Hollywood Studios

When we got our tickets ahead of time for Disney World, we got tickets for two days at Hollywood Studios, because you had to win a lottery to get to go on the new Rise of the Resistance ride. In case we didn’t get in on the first day, we figured that would give us a second chance – because Star Wars Land was really the whole basis of this trip. As it turned out, we did get in on the first day – and then again the second day we went. I never did really get any pictures of the ride, but this was during the preliminary part, which was also very cool. We’d been captured by the bad guys, and they were trying to get information out of us.

We enjoyed the short Mickey & Minnie cartoon, Vacation Days – one of the few shows that was going on – and were excited to see the panda who was in the movie was on a display poster outside the exit.

Goodbye to Magic Kingdom

When we were on our way out of the park, the characters were standing at the train station over the street, waving goodbye. Since people couldn’t meet them in the park, they did try to keep Mickey out where people could at least see him as much as possible.

Looking back at Cinderella’s castle from the parking lot. Beautiful even from a distance.

Magic Kingdom

We started off our day at Peter Pan’s Magic Ride, where I didn’t get a single picture, and then went across the street to Small World. It never disappoints.

Later in the day, when we went to ride the Pirates of the Caribbean, Jack Sparrow himself was sitting outside to talk with the girls :-). Such fun.

Epcot Part 2

There aren’t many rides in the Country Pavilions part of Epcot, but we do LOVE the Frozen ride.

The Disney Art Festival happened to be going on when we were at Epcot, and on the way out that evening we stopped by to see the sidewalk chalk art. I really cannot begin to describe how amazing these pictures were. We weren’t sure if they covered them up if it rained, or just let them wash away, or what. Truly incredible.

Epcot

Wednesday Lindee, the girls and I headed to Epcot – Jeff stayed at the condo to rest up for the day. Our first ride was the Test Drive. It had changed a lot due to covid restrictions – no more designing your own car – but the ride was still great fun. Got this picture of my seatmate before we took off 🙂

It was the annual art show, and we really loved seeing all of the art on display. These pictures were on the green in England in the country section of Epcot. So pretty.
