Clover Middle School Chorus Spring Concert, Part 1

Last night we were at the auditorium to watch Mallory and June perform in the choral concert.  All of the kids really did do a good job.  Here is Mallory with the Summit Honors Chorus women’s ensemble – second row from the bottom, second from the right.

And June with the sixth grade chorus, when all of the grades performed the finale together.  Each grade sang a different Queen song – here June & crew are singing We Will Rock You.  She’s third row from the bottom, far fight.  That’s her good buddy Nathaniel right in front of her.  All the grades sang Bohemian Rhapsody to finish up.  So much fun.

Clara’s Hardware

When Clara and I got to her house after I picked her up from school she was all excited to tell me about her soccer tournament over the weekend, when they won the state Elite championship.  She brought out all the medals and trophies she’d won over the years & arranged them on the kitchen counter for me to get a picture 🙂

She was really proud, though, to model the medal she and her teammates had just won Sunday 🙂

Rachel’s Baby Shower

Saturday morning Addie & June came here, and we all headed up to meet Jenny and Sherri, and all rode together to King for the Books and Brunch baby shower Hillary and her mom were hosting for Rachel.  It was just lovely.  The paper plates they had on the tables were lovely, and in addition to flowers and candles, there was a different Dr. Seuss Book on every table.

This was outside the entrance to the fellowship hall at King Moravian Church, where Hillary and her family are members.  We cannot wait until Mary Cooper arrives!

Charlie’s conference track meet

We were so proud that Charlie made it all the way to the conference track meet last week, in his first year of running track.  His event was the 800, and here he is getting ready to head onto the track.  He is second from left in this picture, in the Sullivan shirt.

I couldn’t figure out where Charlie was in this picture, and then I realized that’s his head at the very bottom as he was running his race.  Ha.  I get WAY too excited when he’s on the track to take pictures, and don’t know why I even try 🙂
