At the track

Great job by both boys at the track tonight.  Charlie came in first in two our of three motos, so was the big winner in his division.  That’s seven wins.  When he gets ten, he’ll move up to intermediate.  Woo hoo!

My boys afterwards – Adam came in second again, in just his second race ever. Good job, guys!

Mallory’s Spring Chorus Performance

And what a great job they did!  This is the whole chorus – pretty impressive.  They sang various songs in different combinations during the first half of the performance, and then the last half was songs from Disney movies.  They just did such a good job.

Afterwards with her proud grandparents – Jackson’s dad had to work. Good job, Mal!

Wednesday at BIG

This week at BIG we continued talking about how words can hurt.  As a demonstration of not being able to take them back, Miss Olivia did the mentos in a bottle of coke trick.  As you can see, it was a hit.  I’m not sure if the kids got the message, but they sure enjoyed the visual 🙂

Mallory’s Confirmation Day

What a beautiful day Sunday was, when we celebrated Mal’s confirmation.  I was sitting pretty far back, so didn’t get pix during the actual service, but got this one afterwards with Ms Liz, her mentor.  They were a perfect match – Mallory enjoyed their meetings together so much.

We got Mal’s pictures with various family groups at the lunch at their house afterwards, including this great one with Andrew and the boys – Jenny was working. Such a special day.

Earth Day Birthday

Yesterday I met Andrew and the boys at the Museum of York County to take in their Earth Day celebration.  Charlie, as one of the fifth graders in the Environmental Club at Rosewood Elementary, was helping man a booth where they helped the kids make bracelets, with the different color beads representing different parts of the environment.  Here he is helping Adam get started on one.

While Charlie was working in the booth, Andrew, Adam, and I walked around and checked out the other exhibits. Adam especially enjoyed the kayak you could try on for size.
