Easter pix

Here are a couple of pictures, of the many, we took this afternoon when everyone got here to celebrate Easter with us.  Andrew, Jenny, Charlie, and Adam.  Can you tell the sun was a little bright in their eyes?100_6988

And our children and inlaws.  This is one awesome group of humanity…100_7001

Easter Egg Hunt at church

This morning was our annual Easter egg hunt, and as always was great fun.  When everyone first arrived they got snacks and worked on the coloring sheets that were on the table, which is what everyone is doing in this picture.100_6973

The cousins at the cross, including a goofy Mason.  I know how blessed I am to have them all close enough to celebrate the day with me, and I do not take it for granted.100_6981

Making Peach Cobbler

Wednesday four of the six grands came to spend the afternoon while they were out of school on spring break, and we made peach cobbler.  This was a new recipe we were trying, and it called for lemon juice.  It even specified using FRESH lemon juice.  That worked out well, because juicing the lemons is always such a fun activity.  This is Mallory taking her turn.100_6963

There is nothing like warm peach cobbler fresh out of the oven, with ice cream on the side.  Yum, yum.100_6967

Easter Bunny Crafts

The kids have been out of school on spring break this week, so Tuesday June, Clara, & Mason all spent the day at the house.  Mallory had been supposed to join us, but then got an invitation to go to the zoo with her friend Ashley for the day.  We had a great time.  We did some cooking, of course, and the kids played outside some, and then we made an Easter Bunny out of paper plates.  Here is Clara working away on hers.  Good times 🙂100_6958
